Upon arriving at the Cairns Colonial Club Resort, Cairns’ only truly tropical resort, you are met by the friendly staff who are only too happy to assist you with all your needs and let you know what this beautiful resort and region has to offer. The resort is nestled within 11 acres of lush tropical gardens and is only four kilometres from Cairns City Centre and only five kilometres from the Cairns International and Domestic Airports. With 345 rooms spread over four different categories there is something for everyone. An extensive five million dollar refurbishment took place in 2008 and the results are stunning. All rooms have been fully refreshed with new paint, carpet, beds, bed linen, artwork, lighting and 32 inch LCD televisions. Many enhancements have also been made to the facilities and award winning surroundings. The resort is also renowned for great food and excellent service. Overlooking one of the three pristine lagoon pools, is the Homestead Restaurant, offering a relaxed approach to dining. For light snacks and cocktails, the Poolside Cafe is ideal.

Yes. Children are welcome at the resort. The Resort features a children's playground, games room and children's swimming pool. Children are free in existing bedding when staying with adults.
Disabled Access:
Yes. The complimentary city shuttle bus is wheel chair accessible. A number of the resort rooms are wheel chair friendly, containing a ramp, ample wheelchair space, a chair in the shower and hand rails in the bathroom.
