Shantara Resort and Spa Port Douglas, opened in September, is a luxury Holiday Resort set to make its mark in the heart of North Queensland’s cosmopolitan village. Shantara is located 100 metres to the main street, and 200 metres to famous Four Mile Beach. The tropical styled building comprises of 27 two bedroom dual key apartments, converting the rooms to one bedrooms and studio’s, giving complete privacy to the Guests. The Apartments are spacious and well appointed with the latest in appliances and decor. Guests can select apartments with pool decks, to private Jacuzzi’s in the courtyards. The three-storey building is complemented by two large lagoon style salt-water swimming pools. Further features of Shantara include an equipped gymnasium, health and beauty spa room.
