Booking process for a consumer
Once the consumer selects the Book Now button, they follow a simple 4 step booking process.
Step 1 - Select Product type or package (Accommodation, tour, or houseboat)

Step 2 - Check availability

Step 3 - Consumer agrees to your booking terms and conditions of use.
Step 4 - Consumer enters personal details and credit card number into a secure form.
Consumer is able to choose if they wish to receive emails from yourself or a third party.
All information collected here, excluding credit card details, goes into your Book Tropical Australia database.


The booking is now confirmed and the consumer has the ability to print a tax invoice for their own records. The tax invoice is also automatically sent to the consumers email address.
The tourism operator - on confirmation of a booking will receive an email. The booking will also appear on the status screen in Book Tropical Australia.
This ensures that the tourism product is then blocked out for sale, in the online environment via any website or through any booking centre.
Visitor Information Centres
Staff at Visitor Information Centres across the state will be able to assist visitors who are travelling within their region or travelling to other parts of (your region) with a reservation via Book Tropical Australia.
Presently we have The Gateway Discovery Centre, Visitor Information Centre onboard, Kuranda Information Centre and Mission Beach Tourism Information Centre.
