Book Tropical Australia offers bookings centres, wholesalers and website distributors access to multiple tourism businesses who are able to agree to distributors terms, and conditions of use.

The Internet Module caters for any entity that wishes to sell tourism products on line to their consumers and is available in the standard package or can be fully customised to a distributors needs using the sophisticated web services available in the Book Tropical Australia system.

The Internet Module caters for any entity that wishes to sell tourism products on line to their consumers and is available in the standard package or can be fully customised to a distributors needs using the sophisticated web services available in the Book Tropical Australia system.

Benefits for online consumers
At a basic level, the existing online consumer would now have access to an end-to-end transaction opportunity on-line. Currently with many online distributors the current situation involves the consumer not actually making a direct booking over the internet, but rather emailing the property with an intention to book. The venue then returns the consumers email advising availability and price, at which point the consumer accepts or declines the offer. Obviously, this is quite a drawn out process, and far from ideal from both the consumer and product's perspective.
The Book Tropical Australia system shows real-time live inventory on-line and allows the consumer to complete the end-to-end transaction in one go. Credit Card details are entered into the system and, once accepted, the booking is automatically sent to the venues Book Tropical Australia reservation system. -

It is a simple, click-through, Microsoft-based system, which is very intuitive. The ICM provides instant confirmation of available product and may reduce time-consuming e-mails, faxes and phone calls to tourism businesses.
