Tourism Marketing

TTNQ's Tourism Marketing division is made up of these teams: Marketing Communications, Japan and Emerging Markets, and Western Markets, all of which are engaged in a range of leisure marketing and communications activities throughout each year including:

  • Retail and wholesaler famils
  • Media famils
  • Tradeshows + Missions
  • Consumer events
  • Sales calls
  • Production of marketing collateral
  • Advertising and promotion
  • Online communications
  • Corporate communications

It also provides opportunities for member product to be promoted direct to consumers and booked through the Gateway Discovery Visitor Information Centre. It also administers the online booking system, Book Tropical Australia.

  • Development of the region’s cruise shipping marketing strategy

  • To communicate tourism related statistics and trends to the team at TTNQ, the tourism industry and key stakeholders.

  • Provision of editorial services for TTNQ (eg website content, brochures, newsletters, media releases).
  • To project manage the production of TTNQ’s collateral, marketing services and Tourism Awards.
  • To project manage various Communication Strategies.
  • To ensure the TTNQ and TNQ brand is used appropriately to maximize exposure locally, nationally and internationally.
